Logan&#8217;s Roadhouse"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>By Todd Barron @ FoodieCuisine.com<\/h4>\n<div id=\"attachment_1594\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMAG1583.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1594\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1594\" title=\"Mesquite Wood-Grilled Salmon\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMAG1583-300x183.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"183\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMAG1583-300x183.jpg 300w, http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/IMAG1583.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1594\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mesquite Wood-Grilled Salmon<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Once again I find myself on the road and this time it is with a group who wants to go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.logansroadhouse.com\/Default.aspx\">Logan\u2019s Roadhouse<\/a> in Kissimee, Florida.\u00a0 The name sends off alarm bells in my head as roadhouses typically do not serve healthy food.\u00a0 I\u00a0expect huge steaks, burgers, and mounds of french fries.<\/p>\n<p>Logan\u2019s has items on the menu covering a variety of tastes including meatloaf, salads, BBQ chicken, steaks, ribs, shrimp, and even a \u201cHealth Nut\u201d section!\u00a0 My eyes are drawn to the \u201cHealth Nut\u201d section since I am doing my best to eat low-fat and low-calorie food while on the road for work.<\/p>\n<p>I decide on the Mesquite Wood-Grilled Salmon and opt for broccoli as my side dish.\u00a0 Others in my party order burgers and other tasty sounding dishes which unfortunately are not in my diet.<\/p>\n<p>The food comes out quickly and looks better than I imagined.\u00a0 For some reason I expected to see\u00a0salmon covered in cheese sauce but\u00a0am pleasantly surprised.\u00a0 The broccoli is perfectly steamed and the salmon has a good amount of seasoning on it.\u00a0 The herbed oil it is served with adds a diet-safe amount of fat to the dish and boosts the flavor of everything.\u00a0 The salmon is flaky, well seared around the edges, and is quite enjoyable.<\/p>\n<p>Overall I really liked my lunch and once again am happy with eating \u201cwell\u201d while on the road.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/r\/26\/1506161\/restaurant\/Orlando\/Logans-Roadhouse-Kissimmee\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none;
