{"id":1634,"date":"2012-01-04T09:15:24","date_gmt":"2012-01-04T15:15:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/?p=1634"},"modified":"2012-01-29T22:45:39","modified_gmt":"2012-01-30T04:45:39","slug":"amura-chop-house-wine-steak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/general\/amura-chop-house-wine-steak\/","title":{"rendered":"Amura Chop House Wine Steak, Orlando Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>By Todd Barron @ FoodieCuisine.com<\/h4>\n<div id=\"attachment_1665\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/amura_chop_house_wine_steak.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1665\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1665\" title=\"amura_chop_house_wine_steak\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/amura_chop_house_wine_steak-300x179.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"179\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/amura_chop_house_wine_steak-300x179.jpg 300w, http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/amura_chop_house_wine_steak.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1665\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Custom Boat of Sushi<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Happy New Years for 2012!\u00a0 I have several reviews and articles ready for the new year and hope you enjoy them all.\u00a0 As a small virtual taste, I had dinner at <a href=\"http:\/\/amura.com\/\">Amura Chop House<\/a> in Orlando, Florida a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n<p>They call it a chop house due to the steaks you can order but we had a large boat of sushi and several seafood appetizers.<\/p>\n<p>We ordered a few of the <strong>Red Tuna Tataki ($12.99)<\/strong> appetizers which consists\u00a0of several thin slices of tuna, topped with a spicy garlic based ponzu sauce.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0tuna\u00a0was\u00a0very tender and\u00a0fresh and the sauce had an immense amount of flavor.\u00a0 Although the appetizer is\u00a0large, they were all gone within a few minutes.\u00a0 I highly recommend it.<\/p>\n<p>For our main course we ordered several <a href=\"http:\/\/amura.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/Downtown-Sushi-Menu.pdf\">sushi rolls and nigiri<\/a>.\u00a0 Among the nigiri I really enjoyed the <strong>Uni ($8.99)<\/strong>.\u00a0 It had the earthy flavor I am used to in Sea Urchin and was very smooth.<\/p>\n<p>The favorite sushi roll among the table was the <strong>Tokyo Roll ($12.98)<\/strong> which contains rice, Crab, Eel, Tempura Shrimp, and Avocado.\u00a0 We ordered a few for the table and not a single piece was left.\u00a0 The roll is slightly-warm, which I really like, and the sauces were sweet, sour, and savory at the same time.\u00a0 A wonderful combination.<\/p>\n<p>Other notable pieces were the smoked salmon nigiri, the tamago nigiri, and the futomaki roll.\u00a0 All were very fresh and nicely done.<\/p>\n<p>I suggest you give them a try if you are in the area.\u00a0 There are many great sushi restaurants out there and Amura is a worthy choice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Restaurant Row<br \/>\n<\/strong>7785 W Sand Lake Rd<br \/>\nOrlando, FL 32819<br \/>\n(407) 370-0007<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/r\/26\/300103\/restaurant\/Downtown\/Amura-Chop-House-Wine-Steak-Orlando\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none; width: 100px; height: 60px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/b\/link\/300103\/biglink.gif\" alt=\"Amura Chop House Wine Steak on Urbanspoon\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Todd Barron @ FoodieCuisine.com Happy New Years for 2012!\u00a0 I have several reviews and articles ready for the new year and hope you enjoy them all.\u00a0 As a small virtual taste, I had dinner at Amura Chop House in Orlando, Florida a few weeks ago.
