{"id":1988,"date":"2012-06-03T15:36:48","date_gmt":"2012-06-03T20:36:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/?p=1988"},"modified":"2012-06-03T15:38:40","modified_gmt":"2012-06-03T20:38:40","slug":"great-thai-food-at-thai-thani-in-celebration-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/asian-cuisine\/great-thai-food-at-thai-thani-in-celebration-florida\/","title":{"rendered":"Great Thai food at Thai Thani in Celebration, Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>By Todd Barron @ FoodieCuisine.com<\/h4>\n<div id=\"attachment_1984\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Thai-Thang-Pepper-Plate.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1984\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1984\" title=\"Thai Thani Pepper Plate\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Thai-Thang-Pepper-Plate-300x221.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"221\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Thai-Thang-Pepper-Plate-300x221.jpg 300w, http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Thai-Thang-Pepper-Plate-1024x756.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1984\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Thai Thani Pepper Plate<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I was in Celebration, Florida, the other day for pleasure (yay, non-work!) and joined my wife and a couple of good friends for an outside lunch at <a href=\"http:\/\/thaithani.net\/Menu.aspx?r=3\">Thai Thani<\/a>. \u00a0I have been to Thai Thani with clients before, but never with friends. \u00a0It was nice to have a relaxing non-work-related lunch. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>I ordered the <strong>Combination Appetizer<\/strong> for the table and also ordered the <strong>Red Coconut Curry<\/strong> with chicken for my entree. \u00a0One important thing I learned on previous lunches it to order the <strong>Pepper Plate<\/strong>. \u00a0The pepper plate comes with various peppers, including Thai peppers, and is a must-have if you like spicy food.<\/p>\n<p>Even though I order my food as hot as it can go on the menu, it barely registers anything on the heat scale for me. \u00a0But, the pepper plate fixes this as it arms you with everything you need to have a spicy meal.<\/p>\n<p>My wife ordered the <strong>Tom Ka Gai<\/strong> soup which is based on \u201cprepared with chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes, galangal, lemon grass and lime.\u201d \u00a0It was very tasty and is the best Tom Ka Gai soup I have had since I used to travel to Phoenix, Arizona all the time (and ate at a place called Malees.) \u00a0It is deep in flavor, with the right amount of coconut, and the lemon grass really sets everything apart. \u00a0I thoroughly enjoyed it.<\/p>\n<p>The appetizer comes with skewered chicken, a peanut sauce for the chicken, spring rolls, and Krag Rangoons which are \u201ccrispy pastry filled with scallion, and a perfect blend of cream cheese and imitation crab meat.\u201d \u00a0The chicken was a little tough but the peanut sauce off-set this with great flavor. \u00a0I enjoyed everything.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Coconut Curry is filled to the brim with fresh vegetables, chicken, rice, and a luscious coconut sauce. \u00a0It is described as \u201cchicken, Beef or Pork cooked in coconut milk with string beans, egg plants, basil leaves, bell peppers, peas and bamboo shoots.\u201d \u00a0It is a heavy dish but oh so flavorful. \u00a0I can\u2019t wait to have it again.<\/p>\n<p>I really like the food at Thai Thani, and although the service can be a bit on the slow side, I enjoy the atmosphere and am ready to go back. \u00a0Highly recommended.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/r\/26\/1459172\/restaurant\/Orlando\/Thai-Thani-Celebration\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none;
