class=\"wp-caption-text\">Homemade Lasagna<\/p><\/div>\n<p>One problem I have when I make lasagna is that it ends up as a mess on the plate.\u00a0 The hours spent reducing the sauce and making the pasta are ruined from a visual standpoint as the layers slide all over the plate when served.\u00a0 The other day I tried something different and it worked perfectly!\u00a0 How?\u00a0 It\u2019s easy really\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When you assemble the layers, do the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Put olive oil in a thin layer on the bottom of the cooking vessel.<\/li>\n<li>Add a layer of pasta and ensure it completely covers the bottom of the pan.<\/li>\n<li>Add thin slices of fresh mozzarella on the next layer and place spoonfuls of ricotta in various places.\u00a0 Leave 1\u2033 gaps between the cheeses.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat Steps 2-3 until you get to the top layer about 1\/2\u2033 from the edge of the cooking vessel.<\/li>\n<li>Add a layer of pasta and ensure it covers everything.<\/li>\n<li>Add a thin layer of marinara sauce and ensure it covers the last layer of pasta completely.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 425F until the internal temperature reaches 175F<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>To Serve:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Let the lasagna cool after you remove it from the oven.\u00a0 This should take about 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Place\u00a02\u2033 squares of the lasagna on plates.<\/li>\n<li>Spoon hot marinara over each serving.<\/li>\n<li>Serve!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In the picture above I used the method mentioned and did not have a single visual disaster!\u00a0 Every piece stuck together well and tasted great.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One problem I have
