{"id":3101,"date":"2014-01-21T09:52:16","date_gmt":"2014-01-21T15:52:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/?p=3101"},"modified":"2014-01-21T09:52:16","modified_gmt":"2014-01-21T15:52:16","slug":"brasserie-ten-ten-in-boulder-colorado","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/reviews\/brasserie-ten-ten-in-boulder-colorado\/","title":{"rendered":"Brasserie Ten Ten in Boulder, Colorado"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>By Todd Barron\u00a0@ FoodieCuisine.com<\/h4>\n<div id=\"attachment_3100\" style=\"width: 563px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Bassiere-Ten-Ten-Boulder-CO.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3100\" class=\" wp-image-3100  \" alt=\"French market doughnut & lemon cr\u00e8me beignets\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Bassiere-Ten-Ten-Boulder-CO-1024x768.jpg\" width=\"553\" height=\"415\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Bassiere-Ten-Ten-Boulder-CO-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Bassiere-Ten-Ten-Boulder-CO-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Bassiere-Ten-Ten-Boulder-CO.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-3100\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">French market doughnut & lemon cr\u00e8me beignets<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Boulder Colorado has several restaurants to try\u00a0but I choose Brasserie Ten Ten for brunch.\u00a0 The day is a beautiful 65 degrees Fahrenheit and people are sitting both indoors and out.\u00a0 It\u2019s quite busy but not in a bad sort of way.\u00a0 There is an energy to the restaurant and although my family is seated in the middle of the fray, it is comfortable and inviting.<\/p>\n<p>Brasserie Ten Ten won awards in 2012 and 2013 for\u00a0Excellence Best French Restaurant and Best Brunch and by looking at the menu I can see why.\u00a0 They offer everything from lemon beignets to steam mussels and more.\u00a0 There are so many choices I want to try (and will on future visits.)\u00a0 We settle on the <strong>Lemon Cr\u00e8me Beignets at $5.95<\/strong> for eight.\u00a0 For my entr\u00e9e I settle on one of the specials, <strong>Les Oeufs<\/strong> (which means eggs in French), which is\u00a0a bed of potatoes (hash), with pulled pork, and poached eggs on top.<\/p>\n<p>The place is busy, large tables full of families are enjoying themselves, and I don\u2019t even notice the time that goes by as I enjoy the people watching experience.\u00a0 The beignets show up and are a great value for the price as the plate is full of perfectly fried beignets.\u00a0 The lemon cr\u00e8me sauce is divine with a strong hint of lemon and it is perfectly creamy.\u00a0 I could eat a plate of it if I had too (or had the calories to spend for the day!)\u00a0 I stop at two beignets but really want to eat more.\u00a0 We have plenty left but I don\u2019t want to ruin my entr\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>In short notice my entr\u00e9e comes out and is surprisingly light.\u00a0 The eggs are poached perfectly and ooze over the dish when broken.\u00a0 There is a strong hint of tarragon to the entire dish that is almost overpowering but stops short of that mark.\u00a0 The pulled pork has a lot of flavor that is easy to detect and it all works well with the \u201chash\u201d of diced potatoes.\u00a0 Unlike a southern style hash, this one is boiled potatoes sitting in a light broth.\u00a0 I like it, a lot, and when done there is nothing left on my plate.<\/p>\n<p>I cannot wait to go back and try a dinner at Brasserie Ten Ten and recommend you give it a try!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/r\/17\/210617\/restaurant\/Denver\/Brasserie-Ten-Ten-Boulder\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none;
