class=\"wp-caption-text\">Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Unless you have been living in a food television hole you probably have seen an episode of \u201cGuy Fieri\u2019s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives\u201d on Food TV.\u00a0 In case you don\u2019t know who Guy Fieri is, he\u00a0won season two of \u201cThe Next Food Network Star\u201d on Food TV.\u00a0 He hosts a few shows, one being Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.\u00a0 It\u2019s my favorite one of the bunch although I do enjoy his Ultimate Recipe Showdown that is more seasonal.<\/p>\n<p>If you haven\u2019t caught an episode of this show, you should.\u00a0 Guy Fieri travels around the United States and tries out hole-in-the-wall restaurants in various states.\u00a0 You will be suprised to find the food he discovers in most places.\u00a0 One \u201cdiner\u201d has a duck recipe that takes over a couple of weeks to prepare.\u00a0\u00a0Another place is located next to a car wash and has\u00a0\u201coff the\u00a0hook\u201d food.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Most places\u00a0have at least one dish that looks\u00a0and sounds simply amazing.\u00a0 Some things don\u2019t look that great to me but hey, you can\u2019t win em all right?\u00a0 Even with a few of the shortfalls of places he visits, the other places more than make up for lost ground.\u00a0 The food looks so amazing that it makes me wish I had Guy\u2019s career!\u00a0 He covers everything from tail-gate parties to \u201cgeneral\u201d drive-ins and manages to find very unique food along the way.\u00a0 There are diners that have seared ahi-tuna-steak with wasabi-mayo sandwiches, blackened catfish, clam chowder (with freshly steamed clams of course,) and classics like johnny cakes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0061724882?ie=UTF8&tag=lostlogicinc&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0061724882\">Guy also happens to have a book <\/a>out that gives readers a chance to experience the show.\u00a0 I haven\u2019t read it yet but plan to pick it up.\u00a0 Let me know if you do get it and tell me how it is.\u00a0 There is no doubt I will be writing about his episodes in future posts.<\/p>\n<p><iframe
