Kings Restaurant & Blues Club<\/p><\/div>\n<p>We went to Memphis, Tennessee, for my wife\u2019s birthday and spent a night at the Peabody Hotel while we were there.\u00a0 I can\u2019t say that we ate anything that was outstanding but we did enjoy a nice dessert\u00a0on Beale Street.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was raining and we happened to find ourselves seeking shelter under the awning of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbkingclubs.com\/index.php?page=memmenu\">B.B. Kings Restaurant and Blues Club<\/a>.\u00a0 After listening to the sales pitch from the door-man to come inside, we did.\u00a0 We paid the $5 cover charge ($10 for the both of us) and tried to find a table.\u00a0 After about 15 minutes a group got up and we attempted to sit down.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I say \u201cattempted\u201d because the very rude waitress told us we couldn\u2019t sit at a table unless we were ordering a full meal.\u00a0 Considering we weren\u2019t told this when paying the cover charge I went back to the cashier to request a refund.\u00a0 I fully expected a \u201cdebate\u201d to ensue but was pleasantly surprised when the she escorted us around the club looking for a table.\u00a0 She eventually found a previously reserved table and gave it to us.<\/p>\n<p>The music started about this time (8pm EST) and the place started filling up quickly.\u00a0 While we enjoyed the band our waiter came by and I ordered the <strong>Banana Bread Pudding ($5.99.)<\/strong>\u00a0 The menu states that the desert takes 15 minutes or so to cook but we weren\u2019t in any hurry.\u00a0 We also ordered a beer (for my wife) and iced tea for myself.\u00a0 After about 10 minutes the desert came out and it was the best thing we had in Memphis on our entire trip.\u00a0 It wasn\u2019t too hot and had a great flavor to it.\u00a0 If anything I may have warmed it some more but overall I was very happy with it.\u00a0 If you find yourself on Beale Street in Memphis, I recommend stopping by B.B. Kings to have some of the dessert.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>B.B.
