Albuquerque Turkey Sandwich<\/p><\/div>\n

I went to Cheer\u2019s Restaurant in Maumelle<\/a> again the other day for lunch and ordered the Albuquerque Turkey ($6.99)<\/strong> sandwich with the optional sweet potato fries.<\/p>\n

They describe the sandwich as \u201cSliced turkey, hot cheese, Cattleman\u2019s sauce, guacamole, sprouts, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on wheat\u201d <\/em>and the description they use is accurate.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The bread was nicely grilled and the sandwich came with a decent amount of turkey, fresh tomato,\u00a0slices of avacado, a small amount of sprouts, and very little cheese (the way I like it).\u00a0 The whole thing was topped with a mild BBQ sauce.\u00a0 I personally like to order the Albuquerque Turkey sandwich because it\u2019s not too high in calories given other options.<\/p>\n

One nice addition they have is the option to order sweet potato fries instead of chips or potato fries.\u00a0 I really wish they were baked instead of fried, but it\u2019s a better option than normal fries or chips.\u00a0 I REALLY wish they would add an optional side of fruit or vegetables to your choices, hint hint. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

The sandwich was grilled perfectly and while a little messy, the sandwich tasted great and was very fulfilling.\u00a0 The sweet potato fries were so good that I ate more of them than I wanted to.\u00a0 They came with a honey dipping sauce that had a nice mild sweetness to it.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve always liked the Albuquerque Turkey sandwich and will be back in the future to get it again.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t like the Garden Burger much in my last review of Cheer\u2019s but you can\u2019t really blame them for the quality of a pre-packed food item.\u00a0 Give them a try!<\/p>\n
