{"id":840,"date":"2010-11-26T23:45:39","date_gmt":"2010-11-27T05:45:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/?p=840"},"modified":"2010-12-14T14:27:40","modified_gmt":"2010-12-14T20:27:40","slug":"chick-fil-a-little-rock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/reviews\/chick-fil-a-little-rock\/","title":{"rendered":"Chick-Fil-A, Little Rock"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>By Todd Barron @ FoodieCuisine.com<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/chick-fil-a.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-849\" title=\"chick-fil-a\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/chick-fil-a.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a>I don\u2019t normally eat fast food, much less talk about it here, but I must say that the one fast-food joint I crave is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chick-fil-a.com\/\">Chick-Fil-A<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I used to drive 20 minutes to Conway just to go to Chick-Fil-A.\u00a0\u00a0I never liked to deal with the parking at Park Plaza in Little Rock so I avoided going to the one inside.\u00a0 They then opened one across the street from the mall and I\u2019ve been going there for the past few years.\u00a0 It\u2019s hard to beat drive through access and when they opened the one on Cantrell (by Fresh Market,) I was overjoyed.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_851\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMAG0426.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-851\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-851\" title=\"Spicy Chicken Sandwich\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMAG0426-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-851\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Spicy Chicken Sandwich<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The nice thing about Chick-Fil-A is that the sandwiches aren\u2019t full of strange ingredients, nor are they heavy in calories and fat.\u00a0 One chicken sandwich is worth 9 points in Weight Watchers and that\u2019s not too bad given what you are eating (a fried chicken sandwich.)\u00a0 Each sandwich has 410 calories and 16 grams of fat if you are counting.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_850\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMAG0428.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-850\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-850\" title=\"Chicken Strips\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMAG0428-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-850\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Chicken Strips<\/p><\/div>\n<p>My favorite thing to order is the <strong>Chicken Sandwich<\/strong> with\u00a0American Cheese.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been ordering it for several years and have always enjoyed it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I tried the <strong>Spicy Chicken Sandwich<\/strong> and it tastes great as well.\u00a0 The only thing I don\u2019t recommend is the pepper-jack cheese.\u00a0 It has a strange texture to it and ruined the experience for me.\u00a0 I think the\u00a0american cheese\u00a0adds an acid to it that is much needed.\u00a0 The<strong> Chicken Strips<\/strong>are also good and I like to order them with the Polynesian sauce.<\/p>\n<p>The chicken is crispy and the batter they coat it in tastes great.\u00a0 I\u2019m almost always happy with what I order and they rarely let me down.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t used to like the waffle fries very much but recently they either changed them or the one on Cantrell does a better job of seasoning them.\u00a0 Whatever they did, they taste better now.\u00a0 Frankly, I think they\u00a0started added more salt.<\/p>\n<p>They are closed on Sunday so don\u2019t bother trying on that day.\u00a0 Other than that, they have the typical hours of a fast-food place and you can find them all over Central Arkansas now.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/r\/200\/1533730\/restaurant\/Chick-fil-A-Little-Rock\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 200px;
