{"id":901,"date":"2010-12-19T08:00:12","date_gmt":"2010-12-19T14:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/?p=901"},"modified":"2010-12-19T11:55:40","modified_gmt":"2010-12-19T17:55:40","slug":"gradys-pizza-in-little-rock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/italian-cuisine\/gradys-pizza-in-little-rock\/","title":{"rendered":"Grady&#8217;s Pizza in Little Rock"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>By Todd Barron @ FoodieCuisine.com<\/h4>\n<div id=\"attachment_923\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/gradyspizza.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-923\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-923\" title=\"gradyspizza\" src=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/gradyspizza-300x179.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"179\" srcset=\"http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/gradyspizza-300x179.jpg 300w, http:\/\/foodiecuisine.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/gradyspizza.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-923\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Grady&#39;s Supreme Pizza<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gradyslr.com\/\">Grady\u2019s Pizza<\/a>\u00a0has been in Little Rock since 1981 and has some of the best sandwiches (grinders) and pizza around.\u00a0 They are located off of 12th street and are easily accessible from Interstate 430.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Grady\u2019s has a wide variety of pizzas, calzones,\u00a0sandwiches, soups, salads, and even pasta.\u00a0 They have specialty sandwiches such as the <strong>Grady\u2019s Grinder ($6.75)<\/strong>\u00a0(ham, salami, roast beef, turkey) and the <strong>Grady\u2019s Italian ($6.75)<\/strong>\u00a0(ham, turkey, pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, Italian dressing, and pizza sauce.)<\/p>\n<p>I wanted pizza last weekend and hadn\u2019t been in Grady\u2019s in over a year.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know why I waited so long but you can bet I won\u2019t wait as long next time.\u00a0 Anyway, we ordered the <strong>Supreme 18\u2033\u00a0Pizza ($18.99)<\/strong>\u00a0to go and were told it would be ready in 25 minutes.\u00a0 I showed up on time and it was ready to go as promised.\u00a0 They had some homemade <strong>St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake ($2.50 per slice)<\/strong> on sale at the counter that looked amazing but I passed it up given the expected calorie load.\u00a0 Pizza isn\u2019t good for the calorie count either but the cake would have put it over the top.\u00a0 Needless to say, next time I want some of the cake!<\/p>\n<p>After 15 very long minutes of smelling the pizza in the car, we pulled into the driveway and proceeded to take it inside for dinner.\u00a0 We had to re-heat it for 30 seconds as the winter cold had cooled it too much for our liking but that is not a fault of Grady\u2019s.\u00a0 It\u2019s actually a testament to them as the pizza held up well under the microwaving.\u00a0 Many pizzas don\u2019t do so well when microwaved and this characteristic of Grady\u2019s gives them points in my book.<\/p>\n<p>The supreme comes with beef, sausage, pepperoni, ham, black olives, red onions, fresh mushroom, and green bell peppers\u00a0and was piled high with fresh ingredients.\u00a0\u00a0 The ham appeared to be shredded and had a very good texture and taste to it.\u00a0 The vegetables all appeared to have been recently cut and the entire pizza had a wonderfully fresh taste to it.\u00a0 The sauce has the right amount of spice in it and the red pepper flakes I added accented it well.\u00a0 I really liked the thinly cut onions (instead of cubed) and the way the ham was cut added a special dimension not found in most pizzas.<\/p>\n<p>Overall the pizza was wonderful and I\u2019ll be back sooner than later.\u00a0 Their pizza is in the\u00a0American style of pizza (loaded with toppings) and is really good.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">(501) 663-1918<br \/>\n6801 W 12th St Ste C<br \/>\nLittle Rock, AR 72204<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Monday \u2013 Wednesday<br \/>\n11am \u2013 9:00pm<br \/>\nThursday \u2013 Saturday<br \/>\n11am \u2013 9:30pm<br \/>\nSunday<br \/>\n11am \u2013 8pm<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanspoon.com\/r\/200\/1034661\/restaurant\/Gradys-Pizza-Subs-Little-Rock\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 200px;
